Weekend Rosary
The Rosary is prayed on weekends before each Mass; at 3:30 p.m. before the Saturday Vigil, and at 9:30 am before the Sunday mass.
Eucharistic Day
The Eucharistic Day at St. Stanislaus Church is based on the traditional 40 Hours Devotion celebrated for many years in the parish. The present Eucharistic Day is set aside on one day during Lent. It begins with the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament after a morning Eucharist; the majority of the day is used for private devotion and prayer. The day concludes with availability of the sacrament of Reconciliation and a Mass and benediction.
Our Eucharistic Day is a wonderful opportunity to spend a few quiet minutes in the presence of our God. We encourage parishioners and visitors to spend some time during the season of Lent of open their heart to God’s healing and sanctifying presence.

Anointing of the Sick
Several times during the year, a special service is held in the church to provide people with the opportunity to receive the graces of being anointed with holy oil. Please return to this web site or refer to the parish bulletin for a date and time.
Stations of the Cross
The Stations of the Cross are an important Lenten tradition. It is prayed in the Church each Friday during Lent at 2:00 p.m.
Stations of the Cross recall the last hours of Jesus’ life from the time he is condemned to death until he is taken from the cross.
Blessing of Food
The Blessing of Food takes place once each year—on Holy Saturday. This special event is a reflection of the traditions of the Polish immigrants and ancestors who brought this tradition from Poland. It has since been embraced by many cultures and ethnic groups as an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices and disciplines of Lent and rejoice in the coming of Jesus’ resurrection and the ending of 40 days of fasting and penance.
Taize
Taize is a style of prayer that was developed in a monastery in France. It is a service that centers around music, and includes some prayer, scripture reading, and a time for silence.
The music of Taize is simple - a few words or phrases sung in repetition to reinforce the meditative quality of prayer. All are welcome to our Taize prayer sessions. However you don’t have to sing. It may be a time for quiet reflection and an opportunity to let the words and music of Taize reach you and soothe your body and spirit.
During special seasons in the liturgical calendar, particularly Lent and Advent, the parishioners and visitors have an opportunity to experience. All are welcome. To learn about specific Taize seasonal programs, please call the Parish Office or refer to a church bulletin.
