A social and religious organization established to encourage interaction and offer aid for the maintenance of the parish facilities. This enables our members to participate in the operation of the parish in conjunction with and cooperation of the Parish life director. Membership is open to all male members of the St. Michael’s Parish and our Cluster Parishes who are at least eighteen years old.
We meet the first Monday of every month (except August and September) at the church hall at 18:30 (18:00 for pizza and wings). The meetings are presided over by the officers of the board, consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Officers are elected every two years by a majority vote, of members in good standing, for terms that run from August through July. Meetings usually last between an hour to an hour and a half.
Membership dues are $3.00 a year, to keep in good standing, and a $5.00 remittance each meeting to cover the cost of providing food and beverage.
In addition to organizing family fun events and trips (Mac/Chili cook-off, family bowling day, community BBQ’s, Valentine’s Day dinners and bus trips to Army football game, Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame) our main function is awarding a Scholarship, to a member of are parish, who is graduating from high school and going on to college.
